Identify Yourself

Growing up you may have trouble discovering who you are. When identifying yourself you should take into consideration your family history. Also, take into consideration others that you associate yourself with family history because every person has a different outlook on the world because of their past relationships. Part of discovering your identity comes from the understanding you have of others outlook on the world. The most surprising thing I discovered about myself when speaking with our community about identity is that I am open for the conversation. I want to know more about the different identity’s because we are all so much alike and don't even know it. I have found that we can form different ideas once we actually hear people from other ethnicity's point of view causing people to be more open to the subject and have much more to say on rather we agree or disagree and elaborate on why or even add to a past or present experience we can relate to the situation. When communicating with others you can learn more about yourself through curiosity. It’s best to be curious about others in your community’s identity.
