Focus of Final Project

Create a Blog providing new information about a concept, author, or work we have studied. You might include pictures, audio, and/or web links. The blog should clearly link the new information to what we have studied, and it should only include information relevant to our readings (for example, it should not simply present biographical information.)

As my final project I have blogged about the poem “Poetry Should Ride the Bus” by Ruth Forman (627-628). Since Chapter 22 focused on images I would like to focus on the connection real poets have when providing images. My main point is to express how poetry is life changing for real poets. I provided a variety of spoken word videos from poets who provide images in their poems and appointed some of the examples within my blog.

Also, I addressed my connection with open form/spoken word and how it helps me and so many others build connections and become connected mentally with others. I would like you to review excerpts from my friends who gave a testimony expressing why they started writing poetry.  

Connecting these ideas to the poem from our literature book I’ve analyzed an example of a given image in the poem and put it in to a real life scenario. Also, I’ve done a comparison.
