How Léopold Sédar Senghor could connect?

About the author:

Léopold Sédar Senghor
                                                  October 9, 1906 - December 20, 2001

According to Pulse Nigeria Senghor was a man of many different talents and professions. He was what you may call a triple threat. He sought out as a "Sengalese poet, politician, and cultural theorist." Senghor could connect to his poem because he lived in West Africa. He went on to serve as President of Senegal. Through the 60's til the 80's Senghor took on his role of presidency. To have a President for about 20 years means the people must have loved him. When reading on gender in Senegal I've found that the government has always stood for peace treating along with resolving any disputes that were close to home.
